Acrylic paintAcrylic paint is a product available in a wide range of colors and qualities. There are many ways to work with acrylic paint, and it is applicable to practically all styles. Therefore, it is not really straightforward to define a basic palette. This greatly depends on the technique used and, especially, the style. Nevertheless, here we provide a list of colors that, through mixing, will get you quite far. We have chosen colors from the Talens Amsterdam range. This is a good study quality that is easy to obtain and reasonably priced. Other brands may use a different name for the same color.

Below are colors you could include in your basic palette. You will notice that the three primary colors (printing art) have been added. If you want to learn more about this, read the article "Color Theory."
