 I cover the inside and outside of the walls that need plastering with thin strips of balsa wood where I have applied texture. I do this texture application with a small wire brush. It's starting to resemble something already. |
 I plaster the walls with inexpensive modeling paste intended for acrylic paint. |
 In one of the rooms, I've built a fireplace. I covered the walls of the fireplace with small square pieces of XPS foam meant to represent tiles.. |
 In the rooms, wooden floors are going to be installed. I create the wood by using a small brush with metal bristles over thin strips of XPS Foam. |
 When the inside is finished, I move on to the outside. I cut small stones out of XPS foam. I apply texture to the stones by placing them in a container with rocks and then shaking the container for a while. The sharper the rocks, and the longer you shake, the more texture appears on the stones. |
 I fill the space between the stones with plaster so that it looks like the wall is grouted. |
 At the corners, I ensure that a beautiful pattern emerges. |
 Because I won't be able to reach the space under the stairs easily later on, I paint it now. |
