 5. Geometric composition; the image axis(es) are not always relevant in this case and may coincide with the planes. Your gaze is not drawn to a specific point. |
  6. Diagonal composition; this is a dynamic composition. The image can rise or fall. The gaze is guided along the image axis by the drawing. This position evokes a sense of movement. |
  7. Triangle composition; there are stable and dynamic variants of this. The stable triangle composition is also called pyramidal composition. The dynamic triangle composition gives a sense of action, movement, but the gaze is not led throughout the entire image. |
 8. Motion composition; This composition creates an illusion of movement. The viewer's gaze is guided throughout the entire image. |
 9. Overall composition; this composition is also called field composition. All parts of the composition are evenly distributed across the plane. There is no real focal point. |
| These are of course not all composition forms, but most others you can think of are combinations of the mentioned basic forms. It is very educational to look at paintings by famous artists and try to discover the composition used.. |
